Eyewear & lenses

Frames, lenses, and our own lab

We cut and fit lenses in our own laboratory rather than sending your prescription to another city, so most single-vision glasses are cut during the same visit.

Lens typeWhat it doesTurnaround

Our laboratory

We cut your lenses ourselves

Most clinics in the region send your prescription away and quote you a week. We have the edger and the fabrication bench here, so if your lens is in stock we cut it during your visit and you walk out wearing them.

If a lens has to be ordered in, you are told a specific 3 to 10 working day range at the counter, and you get an SMS the moment your eyeglasses are ready. You are never expected to chase us.

  • Cut during your visit for full-rim and half-rim frames when the lens is in stock.
  • Every pair is checked before release against a written list: lens fit, rotation, surface condition, PD alignment, coating and lens type, and the progressive reading zone.
  • Thirty patients a day, no more. The cap exists so the person examining your eyes is not rushed by the queue behind you.
  • We follow up. An SMS at one week, three months, six months and a year, and any discomfort brings you back in.

After you collect

Care, adjustment, and warranty

Glasses loosen. Nose pads shift. A frame that fit perfectly in March will not in September. Bring them back whenever that happens.

  • Free adjustments for as long as you wear them — as often as you need, whether you bought them here or not.
  • A documented quality check before release — lens fit, rotation, surface condition, PD alignment, coating and lens type, and the progressive reading zone where it applies. Nothing leaves the clinic without passing it.
  • A free recheck if the prescription does not feel right. Come back and we will look at it again.
  • We check on you afterwards — an SMS at one week, three months, six months and a year. Any discomfort brings you back in.
  • Cleaning — use the cloth and spray we give you, never your shirt. Shirts scratch coatings.
